På Ifalik atollen var lokalbefolkningen i fullt arbeid med å reparere skadene
etter tyfonen som traff en måned i forveien. Den blåste med 130 knop og bølgene
skylte over atollen. Siden verdifulle kokosnøttavlinger var ødelagt hadde de nettopp fått inn
et flydropp med proviant og ferskvann.
On the Ifalikatoll the locals was in full progress with fixing all the damage after the last typhoon.
It hit the atoll one month before we got there with a speed of 130 knot and the waves destroyed a major
part of the buildings and the coconutharvest.
